WestJet is a Canadian airline carrier based in Calgary, Alberta. It was founded in 1996 by Clive Beddoe and a group of entrepreneurs who had a vision that people who pay for cheaper plane tickets should still receive excellent customer service. Starting off with just three Boewing 737 Next-Generation aircrafts, five airport terminals, and 220 welcoming WestJet workers, WestJet is now one of the largest airline carriers in Canada.
