Laura Moehlman The Nazi Party used various tactics in order to install pride and honor into the Hitler Youth, which was very effective in brainwashing children and teens into being hateful, just like the Nazi Party. Their ways of brainwashing were very effective in making the Hitler Youth hateful and racist towards Jews and Christians. The Hitler Youth was influenced by the Nazi Party in almost everything they’ve done. From the beginning, Hitler was a good speaker. One of Hitler’s first speeches was him talking about how he could fix Germany from the massive debt it owed and that he could fix everything. The people loved his speeches, and started joining the Nazi Party or the Hitler Youth. Engraved into the knife were the words “Blood and Honor” The leaders of the Hitler Youth would hand out these knives and having them sing a terrible song about killing a Jew makes all your problems go away. They would make these kids memorize this song and sing it over and over encouraging them to stab Jews. This was effective, as there are many different reports about Jews being killed on the street for being Jewish. The Hitler Youth would generally wear the knife on their hip with an SS uniform. The Nazi Party used the knife as a way to encourage the youth into signing up, and to purge the Jews as a people. A significant thing the Nazi Party did to brainwash the hitler youth was to give them a knife that had “Blood and Honor” engraved into it while telling the children that killing a random Jew off the streets will make them feel better and make all their problems go away, while having them have it on their hip and bullying others into
