According to nationaltacoday.com, Americans ate over 4.5 billion tacos last year alone. That is enough tacos to stretch over 490,000 miles, and could take you all the way to the moon and back. 4.5 million tacos also is the weight equivalent to, not just one, but two Empire State buildings. If you’re a fan of Mexican food, then buckle up because I am going to tell you about a multimillion dollar company that is not strictly located in the U.S., but is in 26 other countries. The selection ranges from tacos, to burritos, to quesadillas to salads, and even to desserts! This may seem like a taco overload, so let’s just take a look at its best sellers. Coming in first place is the Crunchwrap Supreme, which is a beautiful hexagon shaped burrito. It includes everything you could ever want in an item of Mexican food; it is cheesy, meaty, saucy, and has a little bit of zing. You probably couldn’t tell by looking at the exterior of most Taco Bell buildings, but Taco Bell has had many hits in its time of taco making. Of course the invention of the Quesarito and the Doritos Locos Tacos come to mind, but even greater than that are the some of the lesser-known items the Bell produces. What I’m saying is, Taco Bell has a somewhat legendary secret menu. The items included on this covert, secret menu are otherwise regular items that have now been combined to create delicious hybrids. Before you get too hasty, don’t be fooled! If you order one of these straight out, you will end up with a very confused look from the cashier.
