The Song Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty both had methods for choosing government officials. However, the Song Dynasty had the most foolproof way of choosing their government officials. This is because of three reasons. The first reason, is the school was funded by the state, which made it more equal and affordable between the aristocrats and the common people to get education to pass the exam. Another reason is that scribes copied the exams to be graded so the people who are grading the tests couldn't favor one person over the other.
The Song and Tang Dynasties had many differences and similarities in the Period of Prosperity. First is the similarities. The Tang and Song had many similarities. Some of those similarities are both of the dynasties economies flourished and were very successful in the Period of Prosperity. The Tang Dynasty, which existed from 618 until 907 AD, is often considered to be the greatest dynasty in Chinese history. The Song Dynasty, which existed from 960 until 1279 AD, reunited China after the divided time of the Five Kingdoms and lead a time of great prosperity. Despite the years separating the two dynasties, the Tang and Song Dynasties are often treated as a single period because “the Tang forms the background for the existence of Song, while the Song is the historical extension of the Tang.” Their intrinsic connection fostered similar artistic and technological developments that would lead to and built upon other Chinese developments. The artistic and technological developments of the Tang and Song Dynasties are some of the most
The Chinese development of technological advances, allowed the era of the Tang, and the Song dynasty to bring about a social, political, and urban change. The Chinese found new techniques in Agriculture and farming rice. This allowed for more growth and spreading of population in the regions. As the population grew, people were interest in new jobs and careers in the markets. So, they sought out jobs such as shop sellers, blacksmiths, metallurgy, fishing, and government work.
While the Tang dynasty is often referred as a golden age of Chinese poetry, landscaping paintings showing Daoist or Confucian ideas evolved during the Song dynasty. Another accomplishment during the Tang and Song dynasties was political evolution. The sophisticated state structure that endured for a thousand year was built during the Tang and Song dynasties. As the bureaucracy developed, the examination system was also revived and improved. While all men had opportunity to take the exam, in reality only the sons from rich families could afford the enough education to take the exam.
Tang and Song Dynasties Throughout the reign of Classical China, two main dynasties came to power that would influence and change the way we view China as a whole. The Tang and Song dynasties both used their differences to further China under their rule and unite their citizens under a common belief, Confucianism. The Tang and Song held authority in China from 618 to 1279, following the rule of the memorable Sui and Han dynasties (Ways of the World).
The roman and Han empire, although two completely different civilizations, yet despite that both fell due to similar key contributors. The Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty fell due to alike reasons. For both empires weak leadership and corruption, economic collapse and social disorder were three of the main contributor’s factors to their decline. Both the Roman Empire and Han Dynasty endured corruption that weakened their supremacy.
The Post-Classical period of history was an age where countries were undergoing many invasions, both in a war like sense and in a cultural sense. Japan was changing its governmental state from the Taika Reforms, a strict enaction that put all farmland and taxes by extension under control of the government, to a decentralized government, and then to military rule and feudalism. Kievan Rus had its golden age as well as its decline. The Byzantine empire was in a similar state of deterioration after invasions and religious conflicts. In Western Europe, an era called Middle Ages were occurring.

The late Ming Empire was under pressure in the North from the Manchus and the Mongols. In the late 1500s, large numbers of Mongols were unified by their devotion to the Dalai Lama. She also mentions how the media paints the image of how blacks are viewed thugs and criminals but instead of believing those perceptions they should be open minded and explore for themselves.
Literature in the Qin Dynasty came to be very bias and ruined. The Qin Government had believed in burning of books (Cambridge 151). The reason for this is because the government wanted to destruct every book that criticized their ideas and opinions (Cambridge 151). They didn’t want anything that questioned their authoritarian. “The success and effect of the order (213 BC), which was accompanied by the proscription of scholars, have been subject to some exaggeration (Cambridge 151).”
