Teachers are the givers of education, a student’s future depends on the abilities and skills of the teachers but sometimes teachers aren’t always right. Some teachers are unable to teach in a way that everyone understands or in multiple ways such as just teaching in lectures or in worksheets. Students need to know how to connect what they learn to the real world but some teachers are unable to make that connection for them. Making lessons interesting is a very difficult, but important, factor in education as a student will be more motivated if they can connect or are excited about their learning such as games or fun projects. Students want to learn skills and knowledge that will be useful later on, some teachers can answer satisfyingly such as connecting math to nursing by correlating the amount of time a virus can spread or a fever goes down but others have no idea how to connect what the student wants to do in the future and their lesson. One question almost every teacher has heard: “When will we ever use this in life?” but a lot of the time the teachers don’t have an answer other than “It’s nice to know just in case.” or “Well I'll show you with a problem, Timmy has 70 watermelons, if he rolls them down the hill with a bump at the end how many children does he have and what name will his new walrus be?” leaving the students confused or uninterested because they don’t need that skill to succeed. A way to solve this would be making teachers learn how to connect it to everyday life or changing their lesson plan in order to make sure it’s important to the student so they will understand better and more importantly. Children and teens are curious when it comes to what it’ll be like when they get older so they want to connect their school work to
