Team Collaboration Report

Throughout this project my teammates and I have been consistent and have worked extremely hard over these past 5 weeks. This was by far one of the best groups that I have ever been associated with. Each member contributed and had equal parts. We work as a team throughout the entire project and I believe we were the hardest working and most consistent. Throughout this narrative I will reflect on my own self-assessment, my peer evaluations, and reflection on communication and collaboration of 21st century skills. I am not one for self assessments I really hate having to state what I did correct, I am not a flashy individual that cares about me, I care about the team and individual conquest is not in my nature in the aspects of a team collaboration.

Throughout the projected I contributed to the group Wikki pages multiple times throughout the week. I would help post links and ideas to what we could accomplish. I also would respond to my teammates post and to either agree or post other ideas. Our group would use both the collaboration Wkki, but we would use our school emails just as much if not more to spread ideas and links. The Wikki and email conversations are what helped drive our project. As stated before we also collaborated using Adobe Connect on days outside of class. When working in an online group, it can be difficult to agree all the time. There were times where I had ideas and some of them would be rejected, as a result I had to compromise in order to help the group as a whole. I originality wanted my students to work on a research paper and debate, however Rosalie felt that it was best suited for her part so I came up with another idea. Brandi originally wanted to focus on health, but as a group we decided tat agriculture fitted our needs as a whole much better, she obliged and we all got to work. It was frustrating at times, but that is part of working as a team, making sacrifices and compromises when needed is crucial in order to be successful. One aspect where our group excelled was being very respectful of one another. We were always positive and we never put anyone down, I was proud of my group for the maturity and respectfulness that we had for one another.
