The book, is written by Mark Schultz, and David Thomas. The author, and the brother of who the book is about, teamed up to produce a novel, and a later film of the chaos that lead up to Dave’s death.
The United State's 2018 Poet Laureate, Tracy K. Smith is a renowned author, well known for her book of poems titled Life on Mars. Throughout her poems, a recurring theme of grief is presented by Smith. The grief in Smith's work can be attributed to the loss of her father which was the inspiration for her poetry. Another inspiration for Smith's poetry is the artist David Bowie. Bowie plays an important role in assisting Smith in coping with her father's death and he is also the inspiration of many of her other poems, including "Savior Machine," which shares a name with the Bowie song.
The article “When Cowboys Cry” was published by Sandra Steingraber in The Orion magazine around May/June 2011. Sandra is a breast cancer survivor, and won the first annual Altman Award for inspiring and educating the causes of cancer. She has also written an article about cancer that was later made into a documentary. Following those previous accomplishments, Sandra received the Hero Award by the Breast Cancer Fund in 2006.

In the 1500s, the Catholic Church was very powerful and they controlled everything. Rebellious individuals used to come out with books against the Catholic Church. For example, Michael Servetus came out with a book called “The Errors of Trinity” which criticized the ideas of the Catholic Church.
The book I read was People of the Sparks by Jeanne DuPrau. The book is about all the people of Ember getting to this village that got out of a depression a few years ago and they are finally back up on their feet. Some of the people of Sparks don't like that the council people let the Emberties just settle in their village. The book is mostly about how the Emberties struggle to adapt and how they come to peace with the people of Spark. The narrator is someone from outside the story, so the point of view is third person.

In the biography, Escape From Camp 14, Blaine Harden shows that snitching in the concentration camps was widely accepted and encouraged by the guards. However, if the prisoners did not snitch on each other the conditions in the camps for the prisoners would be better. Shin would not feel the burden that he does today, of having some of his family killed, if he had not snitched on his mother. The overall living conditions of the prisoners would be better without snitching because snitching leads to cruel abuse and if someone snitches on you, you are the one who is beaten.
There are many vulnerable populations in the book “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson, They all affected me in different ways. Out of all the populations Woman in jail had the most significance to me. One of the women in the book named Marsha, was pregnant with her seventh child. One day she was feeling ill and decided to take a warm bath to relax in the tub. The family didn’t tell anyone about her stillbirth and they keep a burial for the baby that only included the people who lived in their home.
Velocity, the business novel by Dee Jacob, Suzan Bergland and Jeff Cox offers the reader many key theories and technics to which they can apply to their manufacturing facilities in real life. The authors pairs these real life manufacturing techniques with a fictional setting in order to convey their ideologies to the reader. The book provides the backgrounds for each of the characters and business involved and then slows to the technical practices of the manufacturing ideologies in the latter chapters. Paradigm shifts play a major role as new ideas are presented throughout the book.
