Impacts on Technologic Advancements during and as a result of World War 2

The inventions and technologic advancements in World War 2 (WW2) greatly impacted the result of the great war. The technology created in WW2 included influenced the lives of many through medical inventions and illegal testing. The use of aircrafts in WW2 had changed noticeably compared to World War 1 (WW1), where very minimal planes were used. The discovery of another use of nuclear energy changed the way wars will be fought in the future. Many countries managed to decipher codes and discover their enemy’s plans which let them counter the enemy giving them the advantage. The significance of new and advanced technology in WW2 had huge impacts on everyone; civilians and military.

Albert Einstein a famous inventor, researched into nuclear energy and with a team of experts from around the world, discovered a way to harness nuclear energy and make an atomic bomb which would destroy enormous areas and kill thousands. Einstein informed President Roosevelt in 1939 through a message announcing they have the facilities to create an atomic bomb but they needed some resources from allies. Roosevelt informed the military and they had 2 atomic bombs ready in 1945. They dropped the first atomic bomb on the 6th of August 1945 which killed over 80000 civilians and wiped out 90% of the city. The bomb was equal to 15000 tonnes of TNT. The second bomb was dropped 3 days later on the 9th in Nagasaki killing another 40000 civilians leaving huge amounts radiation throughout cities which makes it potentially deadly to be near. This left the Japanese to have an extremely bitter attitude towards the US effecting trade for years to come. Nuclear weapons are going to be the weapon to use in the future as it is the most destructive weapon and causes the most damage to this
