“Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends. Show your gratitude and love for each other. Make memories to last a lifetime.” The radio was playing an array of cheery holiday music, the kind that gets stuck in your head until April. Well of course, that’s what I assumed was playing. I could only hear the deep bass guitar and high notes through all of the commotion. “You were supposed to bring the extra salad! No wonder mom thought you would drop out of highschool!” yelled Uncle Bob. I had given myself the pep talk, “It’s one meal how bad could it be? Pieces of food were flying in the air, old arguments brought to the new light, and even a fist fight in the middle of the floor.
