The best U.S President was Abraham Lincoln. This is because Lincoln set a great example when it came to leadership and integrity. Some other factors would be, issuing the Emancipation Proclamation. And lastly, signing multiple laws that created the first Transcontinental Railroad.

Abraham Lincoln is known for his leadership, and skills as president along with his graceful personality. For an example, the text, " HR.BLR.com" stated, " He created a climate where cabinet members were free to disagree without fear of retaliation"..." at the same time, he knew when to stop the discussion and after listening to the various opinions, then make a final decision" ( HR.BLR.COM). This quote simply means that Lincoln created a neutral atmosphere. This created possibilities where people could speak their minds without having a possible negative outcome.
