The start of the civil war is a historical event.The civil war began in South Carolina’s Charleston Bay when Confederates open fired on Union’s Fort Sumter. The open fire lasted 34 hours,the next day U.S Major Robert Anderson surrendered the poorly supported fort. This was the start of the four bloodiest years in American history.The Civil War started through the conflict of freeing slaves in 1858.By 1860 the majority of slave states were threatening secessions if the Republicans won the Presidential election.
