In Mark Haddon's, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, there are a variety of themes but one that reoccurs the most is dealing with logic. Haddon reveals the way a rational mind thinks in a world that is chaotic and unreasonable. The main character, Christopher, shows signs of autism, although it's a broad spectrum one of the things those with autism are known for is their minds. They have a different perspective on life, have a hard time understanding simple cues, but are extremely smart. Through the story, we notice these characteristics in Christopher.
