Since drinking as been around for quite long time. It has been prohibited at first, and then it was legal for only the adults who are twenty-one or older. The amendment was made after people had refused and wanted the law to be repealed. The eighteenth amendment was the law in the constitution where drinking was prohibited for all ages. Then in the amendment twenty-one it repealed the eighteenth amendment and only those that are older than twenty-one are allowed to drink and purchase alcohol. Others beliefs are that the drinking should be lowered down to eighteen. I am one of those people and this essay will explain it should. Though most public places is where most people would drink and relax with their friends or family. It is an enjoyable activity for people just having a good day with others than it is getting drunk. There has been a lot of fatalities, but most of them are new drinkers that hit twenty-one or older. In 2009, people from twenty-one to twenty-four have more fatalities than it is a person who is eighteen. It is not because they are below the drinking age level; it is more for experience and tolerance that they can handle.
