In the Lord of the Flies by William Golding it was about how a couple young boys who survived a plane crash, they stranded on the Island all by themselves. The boys wanted to build a fire so if there were any passing boats will see the smoke from the fire and will save them. The boys decided to split into a group of boys who will go hunting for food and the other boys got to the highest part of the island and get the fire started up. Part of the boys that were to get the fire started up was a seven year old boy who’s nickname was Mulberry boy because of the birthmark he had. The dispute turned into a heated argument and they decided to leave. Tom told Daisy to drive Gatsby home so he can brag in his face that Daisy wants to stay with Tom not Gatsby. During the drive home George Wilson and his wife Myrtle Wilson were fighting because George found this very expensive dog collar in his draw. Tom and Myrtle were seeing each other behind everyone’s back and got Myrtle an expensive dog collar. Myrtle was having enough and walked into the middle of the street at the same time Daisy was driving. Daisy was still angry about what happened at the hotel which mad her not pay attention to the road and ran over Myrtle. Daisy didn’t even stop and kept on driving back to Gatsby's house. George saw the whole thing and since he saw that it was Gatsby’s car he thought it was him but it was Daisy who was driving. Even thought Myrtle and George were fighting George was mourning over the love of his life for days. After George cooled down a little bit from the death of his wife he decided to take justice into his own hands and was going to kill Gatsby.
