Trying to decide what career or job choice you want for your future is a tough decision to make. One day you might want to become a nurse, and the next day, you will want to become a veterinary technician. This is the situation that I went through in the past year, and all I can say is that going to school to become a veterinary technician was the best decision I have ever made regarding my future. I am excited and more ambitious toward my career than I ever have been, and I’m here to tell you why becoming a veterinary technician is an amazing choice to make!
I will be able to bond with the pets during their time in the office and teach owners how to take care of them better. When they are in need, I will get to help animals recover or live fuller lives. Being a vet technician also means working with more than the usual everyday pets such as cats and dogs. Clinics have different clientele, but that depends on where they are located. For example, in the areas that are rural, horses and farm animals are the frequent pets that get taken care
Vet Techs come with many roles and responsibilities also. I believe that it is a unique job and something that would be fun and enjoyable. To become a veterinary technician you must graduate with an associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
Diversity in individuals is integral in an educational setting in ways that are not always directly visible or perceivable to others around them. These individuals bring experiences, outlooks, talents, and skills that allow for a more enriched and dynamic learning environment and I believe that I can contribute greatly with my own experiences to this shared learning environment. Growing up I was always around animals and because of this my love for animals was fostered on from an early age. Both of my parents are veterinarians, and like many children, my source of inspiration, but because of this it can be difficult to say how much of their influence attributes to my decision to pursue a career in the field of veterinary medicine. Regardless
Veterinary Technician When trying to decide on a career path, a veterinary technician is a good choice for those who enjoy working with animals. It allows people to pursue their passion and also earn a comfortable living. The job of a veterinarian technician is much like the job of a nurse to a doctor. A veterinarian technician assists veterinarians with duties such as surgery and carrying out the orders they have prescribed. There are many areas available to a veterinarian technician such as working in research laboratories, zoo research as well as in wildlife.
Honestly, I have never planned on going to college in my life. When I get out of school I have a business waiting on me. My father’s occupation is a cowboy, he works cows in all four states (Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma) and even out of the four states sometimes. I’ve been working cows with my dad since I was 4 years old. It is an occupation I am very educated in.
I’m looking forward to extend my love for animals to help others with their animal medical needs. My career choice of becoming a Veterinary Technician is to promote good animal health. I want to work in a career which makes me fulfilled professionally and also where there is an opportunity for advancement. This profession will give me the opportunity to provide services to the community. I understand the deep feelings that pet owners have for their pets, therefore I want to do my best to provide good medical care for their pets and help
Did you know that diabetes service animals can smell a person's breath and blood? This allows them to recognize if their owners blood sugar is too high or too low. This can be a good tool for people whose blood sugar drops very fast. Service animals benefit a person’s life by allowing their owners to have someone around at all times, getting their owners moving, and helping owners with everyday tasks.

Technology is in a constant state of changing, and there is no exception for the Veterinary medicine. Starting in the late 1980s and early 1990s, an increasing number of firms began to offer software targeted for use in veterinary offices.1 (McHaney, 2012) It’s imperative for all Veterinary Practices to stay up to date with technology, not only for effectiveness, but for the fast-paced world we live in. AviMark, DVMAX, and Impromed are all popular office management software companies that not only stay in stride with the Veterinary world, but may even run circles around it. However, they need to be easy to use, effective, safe, and cost-efficient for word to travel and sales to soar.
However, if it is something you are very passionate about and and you are willing to put the work in for, it can be a very rewarding career. If one is not a fan of a routine day and enjoy a job where one is met with new challenges each day, then a marine veterinarian is the perfect career. Just make sure you are not afraid to get your feet a little
A career in Veterinary Medicine has always seemed like the natural path, for me. Even in my early years, however cliché it may sound, animals were the centre of my world. An aspect of Veterinary Medicine which appeals to me is the possibility of new discoveries and advancements within the field; the idea of continuous learning excites me. A concerning fact is that in the last century human life expectancy has seen a huge increase, whilst the increase seen in the case of our animal counterparts is comparably negligible. My ambition upon entering the field of Veterinary Medicine would be to work towards improving these statistics.
When asked what they want to be when they grow up, most children say astronaut, doctor, president, or veterinarian. I was one of those kids that replied “a veterinarian” when asked by others. Usually, when one gets older, that career goal changes into something different, but not for me. I did not know it then, but my dream of being a veterinarian would stick with me throughout my life, and influence the choices I make in order to reach that long-term goal. I come from a family that expresses an interminable love for animals.
