A song that truly inspires me is one by Dierks Bentley called “Riser”. Dierks Bentley is a country music artist who was more popular in the early 2000’s, but recently has become popular again. He is one of my favorite artists. I was actually supposed to see him in concert this summer, however found out in June that I would have to have surgery two days before he was to arrive in concert in Virginia.
Bo Diddley is one of the greatest influences in the R&B music profession and is rather known as The Originator for this mere reason, as well as for making the foundation rhythms of Rock & Roll very popular, but did he truly deserve to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? Bo Diddley did meet the requirements to be awarded this for many people,by just simply showing he could keep up his status of a rock and roll pioneer by releasing albums frequently, as well as being capable enough to invent his own tremolo effect and own guitar. All of these were things that helped him get this recognition of being in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame but there were also some other things that made it difficult to judge if he truly deserved it,such as having poor judgement on contracts he made and being underpaid a lot.

OU’s fight song and “Rock and Roll Part 2” are played at every Sooner football game. These kind of songs are a popular way for fans to cheer on our football team. Ed Sheeran does it all and he does it really well. “Shape of You” is one of those songs that makes me want to get up and dance. “That’s What I Like” is another song that makes me want to dance.

Through his determination, he ensured his success: , “I went and knocked on that door and was turned away, I called back for an interview three or four times, was turned away, so one morning I found out what time the man went to work I went down with my guitar and sat on his steps until he got there.” Because of Cash’s conviction to make it in the music industry, he spoke with the man who could have turned him away, but he said, ‘Come on in let’s listen.’”
“In a country in which popular culture is extremely important, there’s nobody more important than The Beatles.” Steven Stark, a friend of The Beatles once said. The Beatles are not only the biggest band of their time, they are one of the biggest bands of all times. The Beatles did not just sing to sing, they sang to give hope to a generation, they set some of the highest standards in popular culture, they changed music forever, and they still manage to affect our generation today.

It can be described as all-encompassing- touching the realms of politics, economics, culture, and environmental factors (Hallock, 2013). It has long been debated whether globalization has been a beneficial tool for improving the world economy. By examining, on a surface level, the effect globalization has had on the global economy, this post will attempt to assess whether globalization has improved and had an overall positive effect on the world economy.
“The theory of evolution, like the theory of gravity, is a scientific fact.” However this scientific fact is one of the most contested issues in science, and a recent study found that, currently, 70% of North Americans do not believe in or choose to ignore the theory of evolution. This is not as astonishing a statistic as one might think, since the topic of evolution has been ignored by many people for centuries, since Darwin published his theories in 1859. One of the primary reasons is religion.
