Yes, throughout the story I spotted clues that led me to think the narrator (Doodle’s older brother) was going too far. In the beginning of the story, between paragraphs two-six we are introduced to this family and their new member William Armstrong or Doodle. Unfortunately, he wasn’t supposed to live due to his small, fragile heart, but well he did; this came with a risk though mentioning that he couldn’t do everyday activities like a brother would want him to. Maybe he would never even walk. This made the older brother upset shown in lines 29-40. After the brother found out that Doodle was disabled he was embarrassed by him, because he was different from everyone else and wasn’t the same. So he decided that he was going to help his
