My final is about the difference between the book and the movie “The Outsiders.” This next paragraph is about the description difference between the book and movie. Then the paragraph after that will be about the description of the background or cars that the characters drive or live in. I think that the move and the book where basted of the same story but I think that when the directors made the movie with some different cars or house that can change the movie or they put different things in it so that the movie will look better. Altogether the movie and the book were pretty good and had good meaning to it about want to think of life and it’s alright to not be tough and hard.
If you have ever read a book and watched the movie you know that there are always differences and similarities. The Outsiders is a book by S.E. Hinton. It is about a young fourteen year old greaser named Ponyboy who goes through many challenges with his gang Two-Bit Mathews, Johnny Cade, Dallas Winston, Steve Randle and his brothers Sodapop and Darry Curtis. He is a witness to a murder and runs away with Johnny. Their hideout in Windrixville catches on fire and Ponyboy and Johnny have to rescue several kids.
My class and I just finished reading the book “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton, and watching the movie. There were way more events in the book than in the movie. The movie seemed way shorter than the book. The book seemed way more entertaining to me than the movie. They were both great but the book was just a little better than the movie.
The Outsiders Essay Have you ever heard of the book The Outsiders? Have you seen the movie The Outsiders? Then you may have noticed that movies and books aren 't always the same. There are many similarities and differences in the movie and the book The Outsiders.
For example, in the book, only one person drowns Pony, but in the movie, three people drowned him. This is different because in the book Pony is being drowned at the water fountain by only one person. On the other hand in the movie Pony is getting drowned by three people instead of one like it is in the story. Another comparison between the book and the movie would be when Ponyboy goes to court and doesn’t testify in the book, but in the movie he does. These are different because in the book when Pony has to go to court for the murder of Bob he doesn’t testify in the movie when he goes to court he does testify.
The movie and novel share similar qualities. For example, both feature all of the same characters. Ponyboy, Darry, and Sodapop are brothers.
It was more details in the book because it told about the pony got jumped, mom in hospital, farmer in book, and the rodeo was only in the book. Unlike the movie it did not have all of the important stuff in it. The characters were different in the movie then in the book because in the book it gives more details about them and the book don't. But in the Movie u get to see the characters and hear how the characters talk.
The Outsiders is a book by S.E Hinton about two social classes called the Soc’s and the Greasers. The Soc’s are wealthy and powerful people with a lust for power and give no sympathy to anyone, not even another Soc. Greasers are the lower class and are viewed as being thugs and horrible people. Most Greasers care for both themselves and others that are Greasers. The Outsiders have both a book and a movie.
Think about this. Are you interested in a book that can tear you up? That can make you look at yourself and say “Wow, Thank god I’m not them.” Well, the Outsiders is the perfect book for that.
“The Outsiders”, is a tragic yet inspiring and touching book. Some of the main characters in the book are Ponyboy, Johnny, Dally, Darry, Sodapop, and Two-Bit. The main idea of the book is mostly about grouping by how much money they have. Two groups, the Socs and the Greasers, are different, but in a way also not different. Greasers are some kids who are not that smart, don’t have much money and live in poor homes.
When turning a book into a movie, many things need to be taken into consideration. Including every detail explicitly can be quite difficult for producers and directors, and The Outsiders is no exception. Written by S.E. Hilton, the story follows the Greasers, a group of young kids who face adult situations while they are viewed as menaces to society. While the movie has many similarities to the book and covered the basic storyline, the movie lacked and altered some key details, and featured information differing from the book.
Comparing the two mediums that made The Outsiders by their advantages and three disadvantages of both of them, to find which one is better. I think at the novel was better than the movie. Both of the mediums were good in their own ways. I like the novel more because novel the had more detail than the movie.
There are advantages and disadvantages in comparing the two mediums of The Outsiders The novel was better than the movie because it had more detail. It would explain what happened and would describe more about the characters. For example we can read the characters thoughts and feelings.
While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the Movie was more effective in telling the story. First of all The first comparable scene is when Dally joins the rumble. they both say Dally came in to help in the rumble. Dally coming in saying”The fight won 't start without me. ”The difference is
A book and a movie can be both the same and different. In The Outsiders there are many similarities and differences with the book and movie. They were the same because Johnny kills a man, they cut their, there was the movie scene, and Johnny and Ponyboy went to the church. Some of the differences is when Darry slaps Ponyboy but in the movie he pushes him, Johnny doesn't bring a lot of food in the book but does in the movie he does, when Johnny killed the man it was more described but it wasn't in the movie, and Johnny says he wants to kill himself in the movie. In The Outsiders one of the themes is “friendship”
