I found this story so interesting because of the teachings directly from Jesus Christ. Jesus first mentions those who would first be blessed by God, then continues to explain to his people how to be a Christian. I have never heard the full story of The Sermon on the Mount. My family has never been in to church and I have never been taught actual stories before. Reading this and learning about it really answered a lot of questions I have had.
Because of my family do not belong to a church or any type of congregation I have not learned much about the Bible, therefor I know very little about Jesus himself. I don’t really force myself to read the bible because I simply do not understand most things about it. For the book of Matthew I have learned some but I still don’t understand all. One of the most difficult passages for me to understand is also the Sermon on the Mount. Although this passage is what I found the most interesting and taught me the most I still don’t completely understand the Law portion of the
