CBT is more expensive than drug treatments due to sessions with special psychiatrist that can take about 30-60 minutes per sessions. Usually CBT sessions can go to 20 sessions if the patient willing to go through all the process. In the end, drug treatment will cost much more money per year reaching up to $3,360. In terms of side effects, medications have a long list of side effects. Dry mouth, dizziness, trouble sleeping and nausea are some of the effects that caused by stimulant/non-stimulant pills.
