Abortion is a very controversial topic around the world. Abortion is considered murder in many religions including The Bible, The Koran, The Torah, and etc. Many believe that under some circumstances that abortion should be available to women. It is important that women are informed about some alternative choices other than abortion. Although abortion is immoral and should be outlawed in many to all of the states in some cases it should be acceptable.
Abortion should be available to women who have become impregnated after someone has violated them. It is immoral to make someone live with a baby who was forced into their life against their will. By carrying the fetus after having been a victim of such a heinous crime the mental stability of women could deteriorate and only remind them for nine months of the tragedy. Not only would it affect the mental stability of the women but it would also be unhealthy to carry the fetus in that kind of condition. The three percent of babies that women birth have major defects and abnormalities. Some things that can cause the effects are extra chromosomes, taking medications, drugs, and alcohol. Abortions should be reasonable for women whose fetus are extremely deformed to the point where it is incapable of living when given birth too. These abnormalities have also been known to result in miscarriages, about twenty percent of pregnancies fall into this percentage. Some of these deficiencies can be detected by ultrasounds, but many cannnot be detected also until the baby has been born.
