ABSTRUCT
The purpose of this study is to examine the knowledge, views, and opinions that Brigham Young University-Hawaii students have about an electric vehicle. People around the world is getting familiar with hearing or seeing an electric vehicle as an ecologically friendly vehicle, but it is still a considerable topic that using an electric vehicle because it can be both advantages and disadvantages. A survey was conducted on BYU Hawaii to examine BYU Hawaii students' knowledge, views and opinions of an electric vehicle to see if they support an electric vehicle with correct knowledge. The results show that there is some confusion in the students' knowledge about an electric vehicle, and nevertheless, the majority of students support to use electric vehicles around the world. This study can also help government and electric vehicle companies to understand people's awareness and their expectations for an electric vehicle so that government and companies can get some idea of a direction of how they continue to promote electric vehicles for the future.

First, an electric vehicle is much expensive to have. The cost to purchase an electric vehicle is going down, but it is still expensive compared to most of the other cars. I addition, an electric vehicle takes much more costs for maintenance and having a charging station at home (Douris, 2017). Next, the second problem is lack of amounts of charging station. The amount of charging stations is coming up, but it is still limited to people's life.
