Gun control is a very controversial topic. Some say ban guns and for others it’s “guns don’t kill people, people do.” By banning guns overall is taking away everyone and anyone’s right to bear arms. That means for the people who love to hunt or use firearms for any recreational use would not be able to. Taking guns away will not stop all the shootings from happening it would probably make it worse, but one thing is for sure is that something needs to be done and be done quick. We have kids shooting and killing other kids and kids leaving school to protest gun control which could cause another incident that doesn’t need to happen. Gun control laws need to start trying to reduce as many shootings as possible and get strict with the way guns can be purchased because even with the laws we have now it’s not working.. The NRA has accomplished to convince us all that being pro-gun means being anti-gun control. They casted the argument exactly how they want it, all or nothing. America is the most well-armed nation in the world and the reasoning behind that is because of the Second Amendment. America keeps witnessing many shooting incidents whether it’s at a school, mall, church. In cases like this, shooters end up killing themselves after they kill many victims. …show more content…

Some newer laws could require the manufactures that make guns to where they are being made as child proof. There are already gun control laws out there, but more are definitely needed. It is a national law for everyone to be given a background check but there are states that don’t enforce the law properly or have different laws in different states and they need to make it to where every state in America must all follow the same
