Gun control laws have become too much. There are too many gun control laws in the United States. Laws are not going to scare criminals who have a past record or are set on hurting people. Firearms can protect people that have valuable items on them or in their house. There is becoming less criminal with the more purchases or weapons.
Gun control laws should be more strict because there has been to many shoot outs all over the world, this has caused many people to die. The most recent shoot outs have been in turkey and many other places. With stricter gun laws there would not be as many shoot outs. Not only shoot outs but other killings. There should be way more strict gun laws because it would make better communities and better neighborhoods.
The first reason we need we don’t need more gun laws guns, is that the second amendment guarantees that we have the right to bear arms and the government wants to take that right away from us. In a perfect World, gun control would mean going house
In the past, the major gun control legislations that have been put into effect have not stopped people from obtaining firearms (Gun Control.) There have also been cases in the past where cities have attempted to ban handguns. After the ban was put into effect, murder rates tended to rise instead of drop, unlike what most people might assume. Crime rates and violence also skyrocketed after the bans were put into effect. Another problem with taking guns away, or banning them, is that the government cannot expect everyone to abide by the laws.
Increased Gun Control While the Obama Administration is attempting to put restrictions on and do away with some specific guns, criminals are finding them on the black market. Putting restrictions on gun ownership violates the 2nd Amendment right which is, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, and the right to self defense. The key to keep our nation safe is not having armed citizens but experienced and informed citizens. We need to focus on the values of our people, the part media plays in the violence and the huge lack of respect for our law enforcement.
Many people believe that there should be many gun control laws in place, they also believe that it will reduce crime and make everything happy and crime will just disappear. We all know that in reality crime is not just going to miraculously disappear. If there is something that 's illegal and there 's a demand for it, there will be an organized crime. If less gun control laws were in affect, then more citizens would be able to protect themselves. “The second amendment of the US constitution protects individual gun ownership”(procon.org).
The gun control laws that are present right now are helping, but too many of the gun control laws will get out of control. I only pointed out reasons that were absolutely ridiculous. There are some good ones that big guns shouldn’t be carried around by citizens, as well as kids might be able to access it. What sI can only say is people (even stupid) have the right to bear arms. It was the God given right since 1791.
I feel that gun laws should be made stricter so that crime and violence would decrease because guns usually play a big role in crimes. However, guns shouldn’t be prohibited because it says we have the right to bear arms in the 2nd amendment of the Constitution but the government should be more cautious about guns. “The data shows that strict gun laws reduce violent crimes.” If we have stricter gun laws, the citizens and the environment will be safer. Lives are lost due to gun violence and our community should not have to live in fear over guns.
To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens. To emphasize everyone is their own person. The citizens are the nation and gun control is something they need to disarm. The United States should adopt better gun control laws. It would make the people feel safer.
No matter if you are for tighter/stricter regulations or not, it will always resort back to the Second Amendment. Sure you can set limitations and have guns regulated state by state, but we as American citizens will always have the right (so if we choose) to own a gun and protect ourselves, as long as it is established the proper way. I also would say that if there was a stronger dynamic to the guidelines that are already in place for gun control, then we could keep the guns out of the wrong hands, as such the mentally ill, convicted felons and under aged adolescents. I believe in this day and age that we live in, as sad as it is, we will always have gun violence. In order to minimize it, as times change we need to evolve, just as with anything.
There is roughly 31 thousand people a year that die some way involving a gun. Limiting guns and making more gun laws would change that number for the better. The US would be safer, homes would be safer, and all in all people's lives would be safer. There are very few gun laws out right now so there is room for improvement. The 2nd Amendment reads, “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of Free states, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
In my speech today I would like to talk about gun violence in America and why i think that gun control will be a bad idea to support . Guns don’t Kill People ! People Kill People . Gun control does nothing to control criminals because when you ban guns from people the criminals will always have ways to get guns !
Gun Control Gun control has become a polarizing and controversial issue around the globe. There have been many reported issues of mass shootings both in schools and in the public, making it a hot button issue. Proponents argue that, if the government strictly controls the ownership of guns, such tragedies can be prevented. Most Americans have an obsession with guns because the law allows them to do so. Therefore, they are always ready to scoff at anyone trying to control gun ownership.
“You can have all the gun control laws in the country, but if you do not enforce them, people are going to find a way to protect themselves. We need to recognize that bad people are doing bad things with these weapons. It 's not the law-abiding citizens. It 's not the person who uses it as a hobby” (Steele). Gun control laws are made to keep people safe, but that does not necessarily mean that they are one-hundred percent effective.
Firstly, as the author mentioned in “ Gun Control Won’t Protect US”, gun is only a tool that used by the killer to attack others. And gun is not the only weapon the killer used. Secondly, most of people who abide by the law will limit by the gun control. They have no weapons to against people who don’t care about laws and try to kill others. Additionally, allowing people have guns will infuse people’s courage to against terrorist activities.
