Hillary Clinton has decided to make Women's Rights apart of her campaign because women, judging by history still have not gotten the rights they deserve. Hillary Clinton has continued to give women all of her energy towards making rights for women equal and fair for women in later years. Since women were given their right to vote in 1920, creating equality for women has not been a priority for any workplace or corporation. Women have suffered in many situations inside the workplace but have never had the opportunity to fight back or bring to anyones attention that their equality should be treated as a right.
Although public figures are meant to represent public interests and the pinnacle of public service, even claiming the title of public servant. Unfortunately, as most citizens are aware, most present day American politicians don't truly stand for anything except money, with a few notable exceptions such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders. Most politicians follow polls and public opinion in order to reach reelection rather than have a strong set of morals which determine their governance. In short, they gain power in the pursuit of power rather than to change the current system or better the lives of the people they are meant to represent. I deem it is interesting that in the wake of this election, Hillary Clinton is going to be let off scot-free for her email scandals. Hillary should be indicted with perjury for her testimony of the emails. As an American citizen I can not fathom how anyone would vote for Hillary after she has been exposed. I realize all government officials have secrets and play games behind the heads of all Americans, but like the saying goes out of sight out of mind. Americans should feel betrayed and have zero sympathy for her.
