In the past month we’ve experienced a political awakening in this country, and the normal winners of politics whether it be a candidate from the Democrat or the Republican party, has changed from the traditional political landscapes that we’ve grown accustomed to in this country. Hillary Clinton was the clear statistical winner receiving 49.9% of the vote, and Bernie Sanders receiving 49.6% of the vote. Hillary Clinton has the acclaim and notoriety as a former first lady, senator and secretary of Defense of the Unites States of America. She has the experience needed, and the ability to do the job, that isn’t a question that anyone can deny. But, she has one flaw that is deep and one that she can’t shake. That flaw is trust, Democrat voters don’t trust her, they see her as someone who is dishonest and apart of the political establishment. Hillary Clinton believes that she has everything going for her, the support of the Democratic National Committee and the perceived support of the Democrat voting block, women, minorities and the unions. …show more content…
The margin in Iowa was slim; Hillary Clinton 49.9% to Bernie Sanders 49.6%. A difference of only 6 voters, and in some precinct caucuses; they actually flipped a coin to determine the winner. Bernie Sanders is an admitted Socialist and doesn’t shy from that label, in fact he embraces it.
