The world will be in a lot of trouble if ISIS is not stopped by someone. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, is a villainous force who has been completely dangerous. Also because of the ISIS they have caused the Middle East to be destroyed almost completely, therefore Syria is now and was in a crisis. ISIS has caused havoc in other places outside of the Middle East too. They have caused terror in Europe by detonating bombings in France and other European countries. ISIS needs to be wiped out for good in order to ensure the middle East can be safe again. Barack Obama pulled our troops out of Iraq. The United States and our allies need to invade the Middle East with our military to take out ISIS. The solution to destroy ISIS aide's Hobbes view on how the world works. Thomas Hobbes believed that all men were relatively bad and that one man must rule. Hobbes said that in a state of nature, “... the weakest has strength enough to kill the strongest, either by secret machination or by confederacy with others that are in the same danger with himself(Hobbes, .” ISIS took over Syria because the government was overthrown by confederacy and machination. Thomas Hobbes wrote the book , The Leviathan, “... men live without an equal power to keep them all in awe, they are in a fight .” That “common power” was the United States army. Then we pulled out of Iraq because the violence had decreased, but that was only because the United States was still there to maintain order in Iraq. Hobbes had also believed that every man had the natural right “... to use his own power as he will himself for the preservation of his own nature” (Leviathan).
