Introduction: Immigrants make up a huge amount of our population. More than three million of New York City’s 8.225 million residents were born outside the United States. That’s more than 2,742,166,67% They are people born from a different country. They can be legal or illegal. Regardless they are not liked by the vast majority worldwide, that has caused many laws against them. As they go around from state to state they are usually thrown out of the country. Some believe that immigrants are bad people. That they break laws, and are criminals and could only do harm. This is the way almost all republicans feel including Donald Trump. An example is my best friend. He and his family have lived in nyc for years. When they finally got citizenship their parents were able to to see their parents. This would have been the 1st time they would have seen their parents since when they were kids being raised by them. It had been 14 years without seeing siblings, uncles, aunts, grandparents, parents and many more relatives. Just imagine not being able to spend any kind of holiday with them. Although they’re plenty of people who are immigrants and aren’t good people. Although there’s more that are good people than bad. Also, they are plenty of bad people who are citizens so what’s the difference. In fact, if anything immigrants have a less chance of committing crimes because they left their country to go there.
