There are many potential locations for the Strategis space settlement such as:
• Earth-Moon Lagrangian points,
• LEO orbit (Low Earth’s Orbit)
• GEO orbit (Geostationary Orbit / Geosynchronous Orbit)
• Lunar Orbit
1. Lagrangian points are marked positions where a body can be placed between two massive bodies and maintain its position due to their gravity. There are five Lagrangian points between the Moon: L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5.

LEO (Low Earth’s orbit) is the closest orbit to Earth and it has the most satellites. ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
It is the closest orbit to Earth It has a lot of space debris and old satellites that can cause damage to the ship
It has breathtaking views to Earth It doesn’t have asteroids enough close to the ship for us to exploit
LEO is inside Earth’s magnetic field and that helps a lot because we can have active shielding that is impossible to create It is very close to Earth, too close and the settlement can fall down on Earth without the needed energy
It is very close to Earth so we can communicate very easily and we can transport people and materials very easily
Due to all these good advantages that we have, LEO orbit it is a possible choice for placing the settlement, although because of the huge amount of mass that we have and because of the short distance to Earth, it will be very hard and expensive to keep the spaceship there, because without enough energy the spaceship can fall on Earth anytime.
3. GEO orbit is a circular orbit that is a little bit further than LEO and it is following the same direction as Earth. GEO has the same advantages and disadvantages as LEO, although GEO is a little bit further from Earth than

So the settlement will not be placed in LEO or GEO orbits. The Lunar orbit, L4 and L5 orbits are still some very good possibilities for the placement.
If the settlement position will be in the Lunar Orbit, then Strategis will be built on the Moon by robots with materials extracted from asteroids and a few materials from Earth. After the construction will be finished, the settlement will be transported in the Lunar Orbit by its engines.
If the settlement will be placed in L4 or L5 the settlement will be built on the Moon as well and then transported to the location, although the distance will be much bigger.
The stability is better in L4 and L5 than in the Lunar Orbit, but they are both far from Earth and the Moon, although they are much closer to Earth than the Lunar
