People believe that is was morally incorrect for Americans to completely destroy two cities in Japan with many civilians. The U.S. shouldn’t have dropped the atomic bomb. Things would have been a lot different if they didn’t drop the bombs. The Bombing of Hiroshima The bombing of Hiroshima is very complicated because of whether the United States was right or wrong for the bombing of Hiroshima; it was life-altering for all that were involved. In my opinion, you could easily argue for the bombing being necessary or argue for the decision to bomb as being wrong. Atomic Bomb, Justified or Not Justified Since World War 2, there has been a lot of controversy over the Atomic Bombs that were dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. During World War 2 Japan and the USA had their own quarrels, for example Japan bombed Pearl Harbor so the US retaliated by the Doolittle’s Raid. These barrages continued until the Atomic Bombs were dropped. Some think that the atomic bombs were inhumane and barbaric due to the fact that brought death to over a hundred thousand Japanese civilians. President Truman was treating people even worst by putting them through the torture of the bomb and the resulting effects of the bomb. Time became a major factor into the decision, and dropping the bomb was a result of that fear. On the other side of the argument, the Japanese did bomb Pearl Harbor which was the catalyst that got America involved in the first place. We as a country should not need to compromise with the nation who started the battle.
