This Painting shows a very controversial scene of horror, light, and comical. It has a light side but, also a dark side. Finding this painting to be disturbing but also seeing what 's really going on causes many emotions between the horror and comical side of the story. As you dive into this picture you see the horror on the surface such as their face and their disfigurement.

Degrassi: Next Class, the Canadian TV show became popular for its depiction of teen drama, from cheating to islamophobia, to taking steroids. Degrassi shows real life problems from the perspective of teens. It makes real life problems relative for other teenagers and adults. In this essay I will critically analyze Yael; a character in Degrassi: next class using Queer theory. By using Queer theory I hope to highlight and emphasize the role of traditional gender roles, that are enforced on those in our society.
Hunters believe animals are not capable of reasoning and they see them as something lesser than humans. Throughout time, these positions can change. I will begin this by saying that the data presented from the state website is the overall average among sub-groups. While viewing the data among sub-groups, I could not help and wonder just how many students actually tried to completely answer each question to the best of their ability. I choose to begin on the ACT PLAN test (Science Portion) 2014-2015 school year. The science portion questions are based on Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth and Space Science. This test looks at those questions that reflect data representation, research summaries, and conflicting viewpoints.
In the story “The Most Dangerous Game “ by “Richard Connell” is talking about a man named rainsford that has to literally survive for a few days in a place where people are hunted like animals. A survivor is a person who is willing to fight every day in order to stay alive, but then this will mean that he will have to be brave, instinctual, and intelligent. One characteristic of any survivor that i have is Intelligent. A example that was in the story was was when the characters said, “ How in god did you get here” “I swam , I found it quicker than walking the jungle.”
During my high school career, I attended Presentation Academy in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an all-female college preparatory school located downtown. The school considered itself an advocate for social justice and a provider of proper cultural capital, a set of knowledge, perspective, norms, and language styles shared by a group, for a successful future in the diverse community (Class Notes 10/18/17). Through analysis of Presentation Academy’s demographic background and curriculum opportunities, I recognize that the school’s stratification could hinder some students success; however, the level I was placed in during my time there provided me with the benefits of the stratification.

In the short story, “The Most Dangerous Game,” the main character Rainsford had gotten stranded on a dangerous island where Zaroff, a Russian Cossack General, hunted humans for sport. He feels that God put the weak on earth to give the strong pleasure, and up until it was his turn to be hunted, so did Rainsford. Earlier in the story Rainsford had stated, “The world is made up of two classes-- the hunters and the huntees.” And as harsh as it may sound, it is technically correct. The world is made of hunters and huntees, predator and prey.
