People change because of their environment, specifically, people that are close to them. Changing is the result of learning, and we learn by copying. Language, culture, values, and behavior are things we learned since we were a child. This is not always a good thing since not all the people have good behavior. In the story, “The Tattoo”, by Chris McKinney, a man named Kenji is in a prison. He’s a very tough guy, but when he was a child, he was a scared kid. What made him change?
