1.9.1 Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB)
The TPB (Ajzen, 1985; 1991) was developed following an extension of the Theory of Reasoned Action socio- psychological or TRA (Ajzen and Fishbein, 1980; Fishbein and Ajzen, 1975) due to the limitations of the original model in dealing with behavior that is where the people have no control Full wishes. According to this theory, both the attitude toward the behavior (the Act) and subjective norm (SN) is a determinant immediate intention to do the behavior. The TPB is being proposed intention to conduct immediate cause of such behavior. It is a component of motivation, that is, the extent to which a person will perform in a conscious effort to carry out any action desired behavior.
In no desire to dominate the behavior, Theory of Planned Behaviour incorporate additional variables that are not associated with the traditional model of behavior and attitude (eg Fisbein & Ajzen, 1975). In particular, it proposes visible behavioral control (PBC), together with the attitude and subjective norm, is a direct predictor of behavior intention.
