They have three main types of sleep patterns you have; Monophasic, Biphasic, and Polyphasic. The first sleep pattern is Monophasic. It is when a person has one sleep per day. You would have to sleep around eight hours per night. Second sleep pattern is Biphasic. This is when a person who sleeps twice per day. The Last sleeping pattern is Polyphasic. This is when a person sleeps four to six periods per day. That is when the three basic sleep patterns occur: Everyman, Uberman, and Dymaxion.
