MORGANTOWN, W.Va.--Jackson Cramer and Kyle Davis both had three hits apiece as West Virginia University thumped in-state rival Marshall 14-7 on Tuesday at Monongalia County Ballpark.
The Mountaineers (16-10) scored 14 runs on 16 hits. The Thundering Herd (12-14) drove in seven runs on 10 hits while committing five errors.
Cramer went 3-for-6 with a home run and a double. The senior drove in four runs. Kyle Gray had two hits and three RBI.
Isaiah Kearns (4-0) tossed 5.2 innings. The freshman right-hander seven runs on nine hits while striking out seven.
Sam Kessler earned his first save. He pitched 3.1 innings of one hit baseball.
