To begin with, all the characters are the same in both the film and the novel. The characters' ages stay consistent along with the locations presented in both versions. Another similarity between the two are the rising actions. In the rising action, Johnny murders Bob with a blade, resulting in the death of Bob. Then after, in both the novel and the film, Johnny and Ponyboy find Dally.
As for an example both show all main characters correctly. Johnny being Ponyboy’s best friend. Johnny is of course the gang’s pet and the favorite out of them all. Although sadly Johnny does end up dying. As shown the movie and novel show many similar traits they have differences.
I want to be involved with this program so that I start to develop the skills necessary to be an aerospace engineer. With the knowledge that I could learn through this experience, I feel that it could genuinely help me educationally, as this class will advance my mathematical and scientific academics. The experience that this class offers will benefit me immensely with my career in the future. I want to be in this class because I have always been interested in engineering, especially aerospace engineering. I have always been in the most advanced math and science classes that my school offers, and I have always done superbly in them.
