Timothy McVeigh thout the government was out to get him. He thought he had to take some people out of the government building to make them less powerful. So he was paranoid. So he thought he had to kill to make himself feel safe from the government. McVeigh was an ex soldier in the army. He thought the government was getting to big and he thought they were going to turn into a socialist government.
