Schools complain how most of the vegetables and fruits are ending up in the trash, but trying to fix this problem is way more expensive than their budgets allow. They worry about this instead of the potential danger it could have on their students. Because of this, schools would rather keep their lunch menus the same, while the students are making bad choices in terms of their lunch options.
