Gentleman of the jury, today we have heard the accusations against Tom Robinson. He is accused of rape. I, Atticus Finch, have been appointed as Mr. Robinson’s defense and I urge you to strongly believe that he is telling the truth. In Mr. Heck Tate’s testimony he stated that Tom Robinson has raped Bob Ewell’s daughter called Mayella.
In both of theses stories there is some precious stuff going on. In to kill a mockingbird Tom Robinson was accused of rape that he did not do, but because he was black he had got accused of it. In the report of Emmett Till Till was killed because he had want to the south to visit his family but he was killed because he was black. Emmett Till was innocent but because he had no wetness no one would have ever believed him in his point of view.

As human being were constantly judged by our appearance and by our actions. Sometimes the way were judged may cause people to get the wrong idea of us. Being constantly judged was a common thing in the city of Maycomb back in the 1930’s, where almost every white person was racist or discriminated the blacks. Tom Robinson was a victim to discrimination and later on lost his life for a crime he hadn’t committed. When people are perceived this way it has the ability to change people’s lives forever.
Some people in his community hated colored people and wanted to get rid of all of them. Other people loved them, treated them kindly, became friends with them, and welcomed them into their homes. Nonetheless, out of those kind people, it did not weigh the fact that Tom Robinson was still treated unfairly by his community and was falsely accused of
You know how they are. Easy come, easy go. Just shows you, that Robinson boy was legally married, they say he kept himself clean, went to church and all that, but when it comes down to the line the veneer's mighty thin. In the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, By Harper Lee, she tells a tragic story about a noble lawyer who takes the case of an innocent black man.
