Many people agreed that adverting and other aspect of population culture like music and television for example are indeed influential. In the video ‘’Tough Guise’’, the video argues that we’re influence because, our culture teaches men to considered manhood with domination and violence. It also argues that real men are expected to be emotionally absent. There remain some differences of opinion about the extent of that influence. The videos we watched in class advertising, television, film, sports, and fashion does influence people. In my opinion, three main things I believe that influence men the most are music, fashioned, and televisions. Men seems to have more violence then girls. In the music industry, most guys love Hip-hop and Rap music. It is so popular that a lot of guys listen to it every day. Most Rap songs involves drugs, murder, and guns like the rapper ‘’21 Savage’’. He raps a lot about money, drugs, and shooting. Most guys that listen to this music becomes mean and aggressive. They feel that Rap songs gives them the power to be bad and cool. There’s a lot of crimes and hood movies out there that influence a lot of guys to become the person like in the show. A lot of hood movies or shows involves shooting, robbing a bank, and drugs. Some movies can be inspiring and teaches men too be violent like in the movie, ‘’Straight Outta of Compton’’. This movie shows guns and drugs and fighting against the cops. That’s why a lot of guys don’t care if they break the law, because they’re not scared of the cops. Television is becoming very influential to tough guise out there.
