Tragic endings In 1958, a pop sensation was born; without a normal childhood, he had to grow up fast. He was very poor and lived in a small house with just two bedrooms for eleven people. Famous since the age of 11, he was a superstar by his mid-20s and continued to be loved even after his death in 2009. After years of abuse from his father, he also admitted that his father's strict discipline played a large part in his eventual success. Michael Jacksons' defeat started at a young age and after years of pushing through it, he eventually got caught up in the terrible things he did. He was accused of many bad deeds including altering his appearance, there was his excessive spending, substance abuse, and a very disturbed pattern of eating. Four members of Michael Jackson's close family have given an interview to defend the late pop star. Michaels's nephew, Taj, said his uncle's behavior seemed odd to some, but he was "very innocent", adding: "His naivety was his downfall." He later added that "It's always been about money, I hate to say it about my uncle, (but) it's almost like they see a blank cheque."
One of the closest people to Michael Jackson was his maid, Adrian McManus. She felt that “he was a manipulator," and that he ruined anyone who came into contact with him (McManus). They both showed that what you do and how you act are more significant that what people think of you. I think these people have shown me that people are all born the same and it's what happens in their life that determines how their life will turn out.
