Mission Statement of the Education and Training Department
The mission of the Education and Training Department is to provide engaging and innovative educational opportunities to women. Through training and educational resources, we aim to promote creativity, foster educational excellence and support women in becoming all that they aspire to be.

Primary funding for the Education and Training Department and all programming is provided through generous grants from the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. The educational topics supported by the Education and Training Department are general in nature to comply with the rules and regulations required to utilize grant funding. Learning is available at any time, day or night, from any geographic location. Courses follow a personal pace and members can choose the programs that suit their needs. By providing this customized e-learning platform, Kappa Kappa Gamma is an innovator in the Greek-letter community. The EME Learning Portal delivers valuable education to all members near and far, allowing them to learn, connect, and share valuable insights that benefit our organization. These trainers aim to provide educational and leadership programming through interactive workshops for the members of Kappa Kappa Gamma. The program is funded by a generous grant from the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. EME Trainers are wonderful resources for chapters, alumnae associations, boards and Fraternity officers.

The IRS requires all educational training that is paid for with tax-exempt dollars to be 100 percent educational. While the outline for the training must be generic, examples can be organization specific. EME Trainers will focus on facilitation, leadership and development of life skills and cover a variety of topics, including effective communication, self-esteem, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, leadership development, conflict resolution, responsibility, goal setting, values-based leadership, ethical decision-making,
