“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” (Nelson Mandela) These wise words inspire me to be the best person I possibly can in all aspects. Education is extremely important to me. Like most people, I have a reason for why I want to work in the medical field. I dream to become a Trauma Surgeon not only because of my passion for learning about the surgery field but also because of my spiritual calling for this job. The medical field being in my future excites me and pushes me to be the best I can. M.A.S.H is a HUGE opportunity for me to grow my liking for the medical field further. One reason why M.A.S.H would be beneficial to me is because the program would ignite my passion for learning further. Learning is extremely important and M.A.S.H encourages it. Not only does M.A.S.H help students learn more about possible career choices for their future but this program also allows students to communicate with professional healthcare workers to see if they’re best suited for the job they’re desiring. M.A.S.H would grow my devotion for learning with the hands-on experience provided throughout the program. Hands-on experience allows me to connect with the approach of procedures that I will be using in the near future. Problem solving motivates me to explore new options and be optimistic for everyone's ideas. Another reason why the program M.A.S.H would be useful for me will be the education factors that come along with the program itself. This program will teach me new step-by-step procedures as well as a day-to-day routine of a healthcare worker. This information will be valuable to me for the rest of my life as I will use it once I get accepted into medical school and throughout my career as a healthcare
