Death of Tupac Shakur Tupac was a west coast rapper. “He left behind an incredible legacy and an indelible mark on rap music, but many fans still obsess over the foggy details of the Shakur's death”. (Garofalo) It was said that he was shot and murdered by an unknown gunman in a white cadillac while leaving a Mike Tyson fight and was heading towards a club on September 13, 1996. There are many theories explaining that Tupac might have been shot and killed by Orlando Anderson, Suge Knight or even the FBI. Some say he might have even faked his own death. That’s exactly what happened. Research says he’s alive and living in Cuba. Suge Knight could not have murdered Tupac. The first officer at the scene of the crime noticed he was worried for Tupac. The officer told CNN at an interview, “This guy is huge, and the whole time he's running around at the scene, he's gushing blood from his head” (Caroll). Knight should have noticed that he had blood coming out of the back of his head, but was too busy worrying about Tupac’s condition.
