In my case, the medical officer that signed off on my questionnaire and deemed me able to participate in the physical readiness test did not bother to dig further into my medical condition even after 3 consecutive times with the same results as failures. This command had an obligation to support the personnel of Naval Base Bahrain because it was part of the European and Central Command. There responsibility was to provide support for combat readiness and the security of ships, aircraft, smaller commands and their personnel.
