Over the last few years, we have been hearing a lot of things that concern us: social responsibility, and environmental responsibility. One term that people discuss is corporate social responsibility, especially because many people are starting to recognize that companies can deeply influence our society in many different ways. 1). The adage of the adage. Having explained that, I would like to clarify that unfortunately, at the moment I only have 1 company whom I admire a lot, and the company’s name is Google. Google: Google is one of the biggest companies around the world, and they have been with us for many years, providing us with a machine that can provide us with as much information as possible, making us more knowledgeable every day. According to the website “Digital Marketing Institute” (2024), Google is very well known for providing funds for the following groups or reasons: racial equity, disability inclusion, gender equality, etc. Furthermore, according to Fuller (2020), the company also gave a $100 million covid relief. Having said that, what amazes me the most is the fact that a company not only provides funding for the underrepresented groups in society but also provides mentoring (or knowledge), which is also just as important as the financial part.
