The University of Wisconsin Whitewater (UWW) is a university located in south eastern part of Wisconsin. It is known for their business and education programs, but offers a wide variety of degrees in both undergrad and graduate. It is some of the smaller UW schools, but still has an undergrad class coming in around 11,000.
This paper will discuss how keywords are used to help this university be easily found when search and what makes them useful key words. This will focus on five major keywords that UWW focuses on and will suggest three keywords that they should focus on. UWW is all about having everyone, students and faculty, feel like one big happy family. When students feel like they are at home when at school, it can make a family dynamic. Students have the chance to me so many different people and try hundreds of clubs and activities out. This keyword is so important for incoming students and their parents to show that they will become a family with different groups and people on campus. Every parent wants their child to belong, and UWW is showing that everyone will find where they belong when they come to school here. UWW does have some other keywords that it should start to focus on. One keyword that it should focus on is its “Sports”. It has some of the best know sport teams with in the UW school systems, behind Madison of course, and among the D3 schools. Kopper is this school’s chancellor, who is like the CEO of the school. She leads the graduations and other big events at the school. She is kind of like the spokesperson and the face of the school. She is a very important woman when it comes to UWW, so it should focus more on her with their keywords.
Analysis of Social Networks There are four quadrants of public relations: media relations, community relations, government relations, and business relations. Media relations deals with getting the company into the news and they should want to be talked about by others. Community relations is the company building a relationship with the community, both online and offline.
