Vincent Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh was a dutch painter that was admired as a great artist due to his emotion and color. He suffered from a mental illness such as depression, throughout time he was poor and was unknown. He was born March 30, 1853 to July 29, 1890. He ended up dying in France due to ending his own life.
Vincent Van Gogh’s father (Theodorus Van Gogh) was a pastor at a Dutch reformed church in Holland, and his mother (Anna Cornelia Carbentus) was an artist who was in love with nature and mostly did water paints and some drawings. Soon she ended up giving Vincent her talent with painting. Vincent Van Gogh was born a year after his parents had a stillborn baby, that ended up having the same name as him. Vincent being the oldest had two brothers (Theo and Cor) and three younger sisters (Anna, Elizabeth, and Willemien). Theo, who was an art dealer that sold his older brothers paintings and supported him.

Such as paintings like “The Starry Night”, which he painted in the asylum that he was staying in, in Saint Remy, France in 1889, which was a year before his death.
