In this essay, I will be talking about the violence and the conflict central themes in Romeo and Juliet. On the opening scene when the Montagues and the Capulets are fighting at the petrol station.When Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo kills Tybalt, and When Juliet refuses to marry Paris her father (Lord Capulet's) hits her.

1. Violence and conflict are important themes of the play and its shown at the very beginning, when the Capulets and the Montagues are fighting there has been an ongoing feud between these two families.

Tybalt is a capulet and he hears that Romeo and Juliet are married, Romeo wants to end the feud between these two families but Tybalt doesn't want that and Tybalt starts to fight with Romeo, but Romeo doesn't want to fight him. When Tybalt fights Mercutio Tybalt accidentally stabs Mercutio and he dies because Tybalt killed Romeo's friend he gets angry and kills Tybalt
