I want to start out with an update on some things going on in my life right now. I finishing my Freshmen year out here at WKU. College has been awesome for me so far. I never run out of opportunities to learn, make friends, and grow in my faith. Outside of academics, I have chosen to be part of a couple really incredible groups of students seeking to make the world a better place in some way. Of these two, the most influential for me has been the campus ministry Cru. Cru, in short, is a caring community passionate about connecting students to Christ. Cru is a Christian ministry that has been caring for college students since 1951. The group is very active here at WKU and on 3,500 other campuses in the U.S. and overseas. The Lord has used this ministry to help me grow in my faith and to give me a desire to reach people for Christ. …show more content…
We will be sharing our faith with students in South Asia. This trip will help me to grow in my ability in communicating the gospel and engaging in spiritual conversation with anyone and everyone. It excites me that not only will I be sharing, but I will be growing in my relationship with Christ in addition to my relationship with other Christians. To make this possible, I am working to develop a team of Christian partners consisting of people just like you who would be willing to give to allow the spread of the gospel. I need to raise $6,800 by the end of June this year, this amount covers all expenses for the trip including transportation, housing, food, etc. with any additional funds raised going to help cover the costs for other team members.
